For the most transformative experience, our immersive Board & Train program is highly recommended.
Your dog will stay overnight at our facility, training daily with Austin to master commands and build positive associations with obedience. This program is expertly designed to foster a powerful bond, making your dog eager to listen and serve you. We offer several structured packages to ensure a smooth transition of new skills to your home, including dedicated owner onboarding hours.
Best for: Busy owners looking for a quick, compassionate, and dog-approved training program to get their pups up-to-speed.
Bonus: A grooming session can be added to any package so your pup will be trained and freshly groomed at pick up.
The Immersion Day (Drop off/Pick up)
Give your dog a full day of learning and socialization! Drop your pup off in the morning for a day packed with obedience training, basic commands, and supervised play with other friendly dogs at our facility (if they are comfortable).
Pick up a happier, more tired, and better-behaved companion in the evening.
Best for:
Busy owners & foundational obedience.
Bonus:
A grooming session can be added to this service for a full spa-and-training day.
Dog/Owner Training Session (1-Hour 1:1)
Perfect for reinforcing skills or learning how to lead, this hands-on session pairs you and your dog with our trainer, Austin. He will work alongside you to teach you how to effectively communicate and work with your dog. This service is ideal for dogs with some prior training and motivated owners, or as a support session for owners of trained dogs.

A true Utica native, Austin has been a dedicated member of the I&R Puppy Spa family for over three years, evolving from Assistant Manager and Dog Bather to a Certified Dog Trainer as of May 2023.
Austin’s greatest joy is building genuine connections with every dog he meets, whether he’s earning their trust, engaging in play, or teaching a new skill. He is deeply committed to not just training your pup, but also empowering you, the owner, with the knowledge to continue the learning process at home.
A firm believer in the power of positive reinforcement, Austin provides a nurturing and effective approach in every session and is passionate about continuing his education to better serve you and your furry family members.
